Pravas, 09-10

Action Songs-2010
Action Song is a jovial way to learn rhythm and the beauty of language. 'Children's rhymes/action songs are a rare resource of highly creative and energitic forms of language. Mono Acting
In his book ' The Child's Language and The teacher'(NBT) Krishna Kumar writes that children use the language in various ways and some of them are :i)Children often talk about what they are doing at the time they are doing it. ii) Children talk about things to show their knowledge of 'how' a thing happened.
Mono Acting is one of the creative way to express oneself. Here is a link to the photoes where our students performed different roles.
Joy Of Reading-2010
Reading, other then textbooks are a part of our school activity. We have a small library and this year we got 60 storybooks as donation from our friend Mitali Baxi. Each class ahs own library where books get circulated among the students. This year, as as a part of 'vanche Gujarat' programme, we even invited the parents when we held book exhibition. interestingly, some parents borrowed books to read. follow the link for photoes.

Craft Work
Craft work not only help to facilitate the developing body of the child but is also a very useful tool to develop concentration, minute observation skill and creativity. It also has vocational features but at primary level, we do not choose to focus them. Here is a link to see photoes of our craft work class. We had prepared candles, decorative lamps and dolls.
